About Tapijulapa
Tapijulapa is a village in the Tabasco highlands where the green waters of the Oxolotán and Amatán rivers meet. Its cobbled streets are lined with white houses, red tile roofs and flowerpots, and the 17th-century church of Santiago Apóstol looks over everything from a hilltop. Visitors swim in the rivers, take a short boat ride to Villa Luz for its waterfalls, sulfur pools and cave, ride the zip line over the river, and visit the Kolem Jaa ecotourism park.
