About Chiapa de Corzo
A riverside town near Tuxtla Gutiérrez and the starting point for boat trips through the Sumidero Canyon. Its plaza holds La Pila, a 16th-century brick fountain in Mudéjar style, and the January Fiesta Grande features the Parachicos dancers.
