About Tepoztlán
Tepoztlán lies beneath dramatic cliffs an hour or so from Mexico City. A steep hike leads to the small Tepozteco pyramid above town, and weekends bring a busy market, a 16th-century convent, and a reputation as a spiritual retreat.
