Barrio Mágico

Barrios Mágicos of Mexico

34 historic neighborhoods in 31 states, each with its own page: what to see and how to get there.

Pueblos Mágicos are small towns; Barrios Mágicos are their city cousins. Since 2022 Mexico's tourism ministry (SECTUR) has named historic neighborhoods inside cities, from Mexico City's Xochimilco and Polanco to Mexicali's Chinatown and Oaxaca's Jalatlaco, for their history, architecture and street life.
