Campeche has no Pueblo Mágico within an easy day's reach, but the weekend options are good. North along the coast is Sisal, the old port of Yucatán, now a quiet beach with pink flamingos in the lagoon. Inland, the convent route of southern Yucatán leads to Maní, where Diego de Landa burned the Maya codices, and to Tekax, a sleepy town with caves and Franciscan churches. South, Isla Aguada is a fishing village on a long sandbar where dolphins follow the boats.

Getting there
Campeche has no airport with scheduled flights; the usual one to fly into is Mérida (MID).
A car is the easiest way to reach most of these towns; the bigger ones also have direct buses from Campeche. Each pueblo's page has its own getting-there notes.
Drive times are from OpenStreetMap routing without traffic. Times marked ~ are estimated from the distance and may run longer on mountain roads.
