About Marina del Sol
Marina del Sol, also advertised as Balneario Club Náutico Marina del Sol, is a club on the shore of Lake Tequesquitengo. Its address is Mariano Matamoros s/n, in the center of the village of Tequesquitengo, municipality of Jojutla. Wikivoyage describes it as a private marina with a dining room, bar, pools and lodging at the water's edge.
The Programa Destinos México guide adds that the pool looks as if it merges into the lake, and lists what the club offers: boat and banana-boat rides, jet ski rental, water skiing, paragliding, ultralight and small-plane flights, a children's play area, a sunbathing area, restaurant-bar, boutique, changing rooms, rooms and event halls. That list comes from a travel guide rather than the club's own page, so confirm specific services by phone.
The lake is the setting: According to Wikipedia, Tequesquitengo is used for water skiing, skydiving, diving and snorkeling, and is a popular weekend destination for people from Mexico City and Morelos. Marina del Sol is paid by the day: Wikivoyage notes a 300-peso day pass, with longer hours from Thursday to Sunday. We found no official site of its own and no recent dated sources, so treat the prices as a reference.
How to get to Marina del Sol
Drive from Cuernavaca: 40 min, 45 km
The club is on Calle Mariano Matamoros in the center of Tequesquitengo. From Cuernavaca it is about 47 km and roughly 40 minutes on the Mexico-Acapulco highway (95D) heading south; take the Tequesquitengo turn-off and follow the road into the village, which wraps around the lake. From Jojutla de Juárez the village is about 10 km along the Jojutla-Tequesquitengo road (Wikipedia).
By bus, Pullman de Morelos runs from Cuernavaca to Jojutla about every 20 minutes (Galeana terminal in Jojutla, open 5:30 to 21:20 per Wikivoyage), and from Mexico City's Terminal Sur (Taxqueña) there are also departures to Jojutla. From Jojutla to the lake take a taxi: Wikivoyage warns that the sights are somewhat spread out. Tlaltizapán is about 15 km as the crow flies.
