About Balneario Santa Isabel

Santa Isabel is a spring-fed balneario in the municipality of Tlaltizapan de Zapata, on the Yautepec-Jojutla federal highway at kilometre 20, in the Bonifacio Garcia neighbourhood (the Yumping directory puts it in colonia Alejandra). It lies about 6 km north of Tlaltizapan town in a straight line, in southern Morelos.

The draw is the springs. An El Universal piece explains that the spring water comes out cold and fills the pools too, which therefore feel a little warmer because the sun heats them and the water does not flow constantly. The main pool has three depths (50 cm, 80 cm and 1.60 m), there is a 70 cm pool and a splash area for children, and the springs themselves run between 60 cm and 3 m deep. There are also slides, green areas, fixed grills, changing rooms and showers, parking, a medical service, a camping zone and cabins. Boat rides cost extra, and some weekend nights have open-air movies.

It opens every day from 9:00 to 18:00, per El Universal and a Tus Buenas Noticias article from May 2025. General admission was 180 pesos in that article (150 for children 90 cm to 1.25 m); other sources record 150 and 100 pesos, so prices shift with the season. To check on the day, the balneario lists WhatsApp 734 116 2098 and phone 734 341 5193.
