About Parque Acuático Ojo de Agua

The point listed here as "Calle Balneario Ojo de Agua" is really a street in Temixco named after the balneario. What stands there is the Parque Acuatico Ojo de Agua, at Nicolas Bravo 25 in Acatlipa (also spelled Acatilpa), one of Temixco's localities, on the outskirts of Cuernavaca. It should not be confused with the Ex Hacienda de Temixco park, another balneario in the same municipality that costs more and sits at a different address.

According to the Programa Destinos Mexico entry it has eight pools and splash areas, an aqua bar, an avalanche and a kamikaze slide, water slides, an Isla de la Fantasia, a revolcadero, a wave river, wide green areas, a small zoo with deer and ostriches, and a dance floor. Other directories count five pools, so the exact number depends on the source. The park's own site talks of pools and slides for the whole family and offers a camping area, a VIP zone and a 2026 annual membership.

We found no reliable information about where its water comes from, although the name means a spring ("ojo de agua"). What is official is the schedule: it opens every day from 9:00 to 18:00. Its site posts an October 2026 promotion for Monday to Thursday, with all pools open but only three water attractions, not valid on holidays, and children over 1.30 m pay the adult rate. Profeco's Revista del Consumidor of July 2026 reported admission at 300 pesos for adults and 200 for children under 1.30 m; older directories quote lower prices.

The park is at Nicolas Bravo 25, Acatlipa Centro, in Temixco, about 14 km and 15 minutes from central Cuernavaca according to Programa Destinos Mexico; guides put it an hour and a quarter from Mexico City. Do not confuse it with the Ex Hacienda de Temixco, which is on the Mexico-Acapulco federal road at km 85.

By car from the capital, take the Mexico-Cuernavaca toll road (95D) toward Cuernavaca; the drive to Cuernavaca is around an hour and a half without traffic (Milenio). Past Cuernavaca, head for Temixco and then the locality of Acatlipa; on the last stretch, follow signs to calle Nicolas Bravo.

By bus, services run from the Terminal Sur (Taxqueña) to Cuernavaca for roughly 140 to 200 pesos (Milenio, 2026). From Cuernavaca We found no published route all the way to the park: ask for a colectivo to Temixco or Acatlipa, or take a taxi or Uber. From Xochitepec, the nearest pueblo listed, it is about 10 km in a straight line (roughly 10 minutes by car).
